Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute was established in the year 2001. The desire and the dream became a reality with the contributions by the Chairman himself and ably supported by a dedicated and vibrant team of Faculty and the members of the Staff. And the hard work was richly rewarded when the Government of India was declaring the Constituent Colleges as Deemed University as per the recommendations of the UG during the year 2008. This Institution was awarded the status of "Deemed to-be-University" in the name and style of SRI BALAJI VIDYAPEETH under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 during the year 2008.
